The books of Světlana Alexijevič are a multivoiced novels with real environment and real stories. The second hand time is about a social change that took place in the nineties in Russia. Spitfire Company approaches this book as a mirror showing us our current society.
Spitfire Company uses methods of recordings of dialogues with real people as it is done in the book. The performance itself is colored with authentic recordings from the book, the fragments of the book are being read as well by Roman Černík for instance, Tomáš Suchánek, Lenka Dusilová or René Levínský and others.
